Trip description
Pick you up early, a bit before sunrise. The trip consists of two surf sessions, we can be back by noon or out until night time it's up to you, we charge per day out surfing, not by time.
There is a bit of driving involved due to the terrain but that gives us wave options, except anywhere from 35min-2:30 hrs drive (the usual commute is a little over an hour). It all depends on where the waves are best for what you're seeking. We can even check out one spot in the morning then drive to another in the evening, we just have to stay near the waves so coming back to town in the middle of the day is not an option due to gas cost.
For food we will bring snacks and a cooler full of cold water but if you plan to stay out all day, bring cash and we will stop at a local restaurant of your choosing.
Where we'll go
We are located right in between Puerto Escondido and Salina Cruz, landing in the middle of the golden coast of Mexico's remote surf paradise.
From WSL events to countless international championships, these waves have been sought out due to their perfection and remoteness.
Starting in February, we get the occasional swell, so keep an eye out. April to October is the best season if you're looking for barrels.
What to bring
Water, boards, tropical wax, ocean-friendly sunscreen, and snacks, cash in pesos for consumption at local restaurants. (Most don't accept cards)
